Another scorcher today. 95 degrees in the shade.
And a couple of days ago I had a jacket on.
You got to go to hell before you get to Heaven.
Played golf today - good thing that it was early again - a little warm out.
Going to see Tears for Fears and Garbage tonight - hopefully seeing the Moid's for dinner.
Wott a great night - met the Moid's for dinner before the show, then saw Garbage and Tears for Fears. Garbage was good, although the sound was a little loud and boomy. They fixed it for Tears for Fears, and they were awesome. Great videos and light show, they played a lot off the new album and all the hits. Great show! As an added bonus, we got right out of the parking lot and were home in about 20 minutes.
Off to go visit my dad for Father's Day today, then seeing Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Freddy Jones Band tomorrow night.
Tears for Fears were one of the few 80's bands that I really liked ... glad you had a great show.
Good Morning Slackers ...
Been pretty busy lately, so spent last night cutting the grass, cleaning up the house, doing laundry, etc.
Looking forward to Big Head Todd & the Monsters and Freddy Jones Band tonight ...
Lee is also pretty busy - his favorite parade is this weekend ...
Although Sang is somewott correct. It is busy as hell in the neighborhood at it IS Pride Week - Weekend. There is a festival. People watching is always interesting.
My buddy who is a bartender asked me if the Cubs will be in town next weekend to add to the 1 million people that are expected. He said that is good that they are not at home. But The Dead will be here that weekend so that will make things even nutier.
I have no idea where these people will stay. The point: get out of the city or stay inside.
You got to go to hell before you get to Heaven.
Big Head Todd was very good - played some good new stuff. Didn't play one of my favorites, 'Please Don't Tell Her', but still a lot of fun.
It was about 35 degrees cooler than when we saw Tears for Fears Thursday night. My wife had on 2 hoodies and was still cold.
Lazy is as lazy does...
You got to go to hell before you get to Heaven.
No kidding .....
Played golf yesterday, playing again tomorrow. Going to see a Tom Petty tribute band tonight ...

Another nice day for golf ....
Good Morning ....
Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood 'ol International Fairy Day!
Everyone can do wott like would like with that.
You got to go to hell before you get to Heaven.
Finally - Lee's parade weekend ... 🤡
First, hello, everyone!
Second, it's a BIG anniversary for coot* and me: on this day 20 years ago we met at the Golden Ox on Kansas City, KS, before the dTb/ABB show that night!
And don't you worry your purdy little head, I will be there with bells on. I thought about going to the White Sux game since I haven't been there yet this season and get out of the madness. But it really is a lot of fun. You see things you wouldn't dream of.
There are drawbacks however. There are over ONE MILLION people expected. A lot of people. All of the street closures. Public transit is screwed. And these people party all night in Lincoln Park, which is right next to us. On a Sunday. Very loud!
You got to go to hell before you get to Heaven.
EZ -
Nice to see you! You have been lazier than the title of this thread! 😛
Hope you have been doing well. I saw a pic of you recently jamming at The Beacon Hotel.
Those sure were great times!
