Played golf again in frickin' Indiana today. Beautiful day and a really pretty but tough course. Two really bad holes killed my score.

It was supposed to rain yesterday and today, but it hasn't yet. Got some yardwork done and spent some quality time on the deck ...
It did rain here so I didn't do any yard work (whatever that might be) and spent some quality time on the sofa drinking beer and watching soccer on the TV ...

Played golf today at a tough private course. Played OK, especially since it rained on about half the holes.

Had an eyeopening storm last night wasn't really in the forecast. 70 mph winds, brief period of heavy rain and hail with some stones at least golf ball size if not tennis ball. Fortunately not many of those. Ironically we're getting all new shingles and guttering next week from the freakish hail storm we had last December. Glad the new ones didn't get all beat to crap. Thought for a while that Snagger was outside driving golf balls into the house but then remembered he probably would have missed.

Fun day today - grad party for some relatives, then a jaunt to frickin' Indiana to celebrate Moid's 50th birthday. Nice seeing Droogie there. Moid had a couple bands play in his backyard. An acoustic player that had a harmonica player (and Moid's dogs) join in a few songs. Then a full band - played Whipping Post for the last song we heard before a break. It was a good time!
Supposed to be seriously hot the next couple of days - good thing my tee time is at 7:40 tomorrow.
Seeing Tears for Fears/Garbage on Thursday and Big Head Todd/Freddy Jones on Saturday ...

Played golf in the heat today - good thing we had a 7:40 tee time. Shot a 38 on the front 9, wheels came off on 3 holes on the back - shot 84. Went to a restaurant to eat afterwards. On the way home my car thermometer showed 101 ... yikes!
