Gooooooooooooooooooood 'ol Memorial Weekend! Apparently THB has doled up a full menu of plans for me. This includes in-laws coming to town. I think some staying with us. 
Sunday is a BBQ and Monday is a Cubs game. I might try to get away from some of the weekend by taking in an additional baseball game at Wrigley and/or Comiskey. We shall see how that goes.
There are no plans to play golfball although there is a miniature course and a driving range right on The Lake.

Got warmish today, mid 80's. Just got the garden in so watering a bit more than cooler temps would dictate, A variety of different tomatoes, peppers and some zucchini too. May add some squash. Also on bunny alert!

Even with my garden doubled fenced in, plus chicken wire cages around every pepper plant, the bastards got to one of them and ate all the leaves. May have to declare war on bunnies ...

One of the best pitchers this year is throwing against them so you might be correct for a change. I really want to try the White Sux game that night as well but that would be a long day.
And I think I have to come home after the Flubs game and play nice with in-laws.

Bill Levensen is currently in a mastering session with Jason NeSmith at Chase Park Transduction studios for the upcoming Allman Brothers Band @ RFK Stadium, June 9 & 10, 1973 archive release ... nothing we haven't already heard but will be good if there is a significant sound quality upgrade ... and something to listen to while on Bunny watch in your guard post towers!

Played golf at 6:00 am Monday, 8:00 am yesterday. Went to dinner/drinks with my weekly Tuesday night crowd. Went to a funeral mass for a friend's dad this morning. Golf tomorrow at 8. Hopefully some live music at a local brewpub Friday night. My wife is in Europe for 2 weeks (she left Monday) - so finding ways to fill my time ...

The previous 31 days was the fifth driest May on record locally, temps running about 10 degrees above normal. We have a better chance for showers the next several days, we could really use some.

We had .4 inches of rain in May - 2nd lowest since they have kept track. It rained 2 inches about 10 miles south of here yesterday, we got about 10 drops. Supposed to maybe rain this afternoon - the grass is turning brown - we could really use it.
