Pretty cold out - supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow - then get really cold again Friday - I'm ready for spring ....

We’re supposed to be -3 tomorrow morning with very bitter windchill. First real winter like weather we’ve had. Won’t be long until spring.

Yesterday's actual high was supposed to be zero. At the moment, the actual temp is negative 10!

Pulled out the long underwear for the first time yesterday - I volunteer at a food pantry, and they get deliveries of fruit, veggies, milk, bread, frozen meat, etc. on Fridays.  They get 4-6 pallets of food - we have to bring it all in and put it away.  It was pretty cold out - I was inside the door (although the door was open to bring everything in).  My hands were freezing even with gloves on.  Some of my local favorite musicians were playing Thursday and Friday night, but we decided to stay home.  Snowing some here now - but it is warming up - 4 degrees, feels like 7 ...

Hello goofballs! Couple more days of nasty cold and then back toward the 50’s.

It wasn’t a shocker but I was right about Seattle vs New England. I like the Seahawks to win it by a touchdown or more.

Warm, dry wind here in the 805. Allergy hell and it’s still January. At least the hells are green.

There is no football on TV this weekend. That makes me sad. Time to listen to some ABB.

Been pretty busy lately - a golf show, local brewpubs for live music (TopDroog joined me for one of them), a local improv show, and some babysitting.  Having the 2 grandkids overnight one night this week - first time for that.

I'm having a tough time getting excited about the game. But if I had to bet it, I would probably take Seattle. But I am rooting for New England. I like Drake Maye. He's doing better than I thought he would be coming out of college.

Unbelievably pleasant for a week now, we’re due for low ‘70’s today. Winter hardly even happened this year. Not complaining at all.

I pulled into a gas station to fill up after a round of golf, and as I got out of the car a couple of tees dropped out of my pocket and fell onto the seat.

The young lady filling the car for me spotted these and asked what they were.

I told her that they were what I put my balls on when I'm driving.

She said, "Wow! ... Jaguar think of everything don't they?" ... Wink

@harvey There is a legendary story (possibly a myth?), that Jack Nicklaus's wife appeared on the Tonight Show and told host, Johnny Carson that she "kisses her husband's balls for good luck before a match.  Carson reportedly replied, "I'll bet that makes his putter flutter!"

If it ain't true - don't tell me.  Too good a story to ruin with factual details!  😉

It’s true Rusty but it was Arnold Palmer’s wife.
