Good Afternoon, Girls -
I'm watching the Nebraska/Iowa game. It is snowing there. Ours will be here overnight; 6" - 11". As with the most recent one, it will probably be a nuisance more than anything.
Listening to a great ABB version of Loan Me A Dime from 2000. That was a great idea to bring that out. Cudos to whoever thought of it.

Had a nice Thanksgiving with the family over. Did some shopping this morning, getting ready for the Bears game this afternoon.
Well Sang, your team pulled it out today. It just proves that the Eagles are overrated.

Had a very nice Thanksgiving and ate too much for sure. No green bean casserole though.

Got maybe a one inch dusting of snow but everything east of here is in for a much rougher time. Glad I have no more traveling to do this weekend.

I've shoveled 3 times already - we are up to about 6 inches so far. Supposed to get 6-10 inches I think. Roads are pretty bad. Glad I don't have anywhere else to go today.
That's the dilemma; do it periodically or all at once. We got about what you got. It's kind of hard to tell since it is blowing. The wind off of Lake Meeechigan is just brutal. The snow actually hurts your face.
Tomorrow night Cesar Rosas is playing in a new small club downtown for $20. I'm thinking about going. Phil Lesh's son has an ownership role and is called Garcia's for obvious reasons.

For the foreseeable future we're having Little Feat weather... cold, cold, cold.

Yep, seen it a lot, bourbon.
Snagger, saw at a local grocery store Boone County Stout something to do with cherries. Cherries Jubilee maybe? $23 a bottle does that sound right price-wise to you?
Still have an unopened case of 2018 BCS. May have to tap into that one of these days.

Meanwhile I keep socking away Buffalo Trace bourbon. Seems very very hard to find any. Got a 1.75L jug just the other day.

Buffalo Trace seems to be a little easier to find these days. I have given away a lot of my Bourbon County Stout, but I have kept all the specialty/flavored ones. Picked up a full allocation of the flavored ones on Black Friday when they were released. The craft beer place I bought it from had them on tap, so I tasted the Cherries Jubilee and the Chocolate Praline. The Proprietor's, which is only sold in the Chicago is supposed to be like baklava, my favorite Greek dessert. There are a couple more, 1 stored in Heaven Hill barrels. Weird thing is they are going to 10 oz bottles for the regular BCS instead of the 16.9 oz. Makes sense, since they are 15% beers. The specialty ones are still 16.9. Yes the flavors are $23.99-$29.99 around here.
Ooh, baklava. I'm in! I love that stuff.
And goooooooooooooooooooooooooooood 'ol Try to Stay Warm weekend!

Don't look now, but I am on a one-week winning streak in the football pool! And I am tied for first this week as well. It's about time I go on a season-changing winning streak.
