Great Randy Rogers show last night. The boys know how to entertain. One of the guitar players from the opening band came out and I had a nice conversation with him. Their band is also from Texas and I guess Randy Rogers heard them and asked them to open on some of their dates. Fun evening.

Listening to some ABB with Branford Marsalis this morning. Grin

I best put on a fresh pot of coffee if I am to amuse myself with a page run!

Listening to a five disc compilation of early Derek Trucks guest appearances that I helped Nick Graham (ABB Listserve) put together years ago. DT & John Scofield tearin' it up on a 19 minute version of "Hottentot" from April 2000. I hope that young man continued progressing as a guitar player..... Wink

I volunteer a couple of days a week at a local food pantry.  It was nuts today - usually pick up donations and some stuff from a store - usually done by 10:30 or so.   Worked until 1:00 today, helping get ready for when they give the food out tomorrow.

Saw Steve Hackett last night with Droogie - wott a great show!  Played his solo stuff the first half then Genesis songs the second half.  Mostly from Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, but also got Carpet Crawlers, Supper's Ready, Firth of Fifth, and Los Endos.  Love seeing shows at the Rialto in Joliet - beautiful theater and easy in and out.

Da Bears do it again!  Blackhawks beat Detroit 5-1.  Good sports day in Chicago.  It was tough watching both games at the same time - Bears on TV, Blackhawks on my Chromebook.

Hunkering down - supposed to get 1-12 inches of snow by tomorrow night ...

One to 12? That's quite a range??? Cold front here for today and tomorrow and then 60's again the rest of the week.

He's correct. It all depends on where you live. Supposed to get 6 inches in my area.

I met the president of the University of Michigan yesterday. He was in town for the game at Wrigley Field. He's a really nice guy. Didn't even give me grief for going to grad school at Michigan State. Wink

Been pretty busy with birthdays, watching my granddaughter, and volunteering at the food pantry.  Spent most of the day putting all the deck and outdoor stuff away in the shed for the winter.  Did get tickets for George Thorogood and Robert Cray in Joliet in March on my wife's birthday.
