Playing golf when it is windy is certainly a challenge ...

Glad to see Colin is back ...

Boo frickin' who, golf here most rounds is 30 mph winds left/right, in your face or occasionally in your favor. Don't you live basically in the "Windy City?" Wink

Had a nice Mother's Day - all the kids were over, plus a few other relatives.  Had that picture I posted on the last page made into a 2'x3' canvas print for my wife.

Nice that the weather has finally warmed up - painted the deck last week, put out all the furniture this weekend.  The neighbors are going to love me sitting out there every night with a glass of bourbon and my Bose Bluetooth speaker cranking out some tunes ...

There was an old coot in Nebraska

Who fancied a young girl from Alaska

Lee, his best mate

Said she's to young to date

But he turned up his pacemaker to ask her

I think I liked coot's better than Colin's. At least coot's didn't say anything. Wink

I went to Comiskey to see the Sox & the Marlins. 15 bucks for a beer and 6 for a bag of potato chips. I don't care how cheap the tickets were, I'm not going back.

Played golf yesterday - storms rolled through last night - rained hard but not for long - we need more rain - although I'm getting an extra 20 yards on the golf course since the ground is so hard.

Stormed last night - finally getting some much needed rain - good thing since I planted some grass seed yesterday.

Also bought plants for my garden - will have to wait a couple days to plant them since the garden is too wet now ...

We have finally been getting some moisture here too, it's been unbelievably dry since the start of the year. Fortunately have "missed out" on the tornadoes that have been rolling through the state.

@sang

I haven't watched that DVD in years. Although they've played both in a show many times, the only time I saw them do them back-to-back was in Niagara Falls in 2006 at a casino.

That was not a good show.

Saw some video on the most recent roll, that is completely nuts! People getting numerous serious injuries or even knocked unconscious. Shocked

I nominate Sang to participate next year!!! Razz

There's a horse running at Penn National racetrack in a few minutes, Jester Sang. I wonder if Mike is the jockey?

@oldcoot

If he fell off, I would say yes. Laugh

Do you remember the race not long ago that the jockey fell off the horse and it kept running?

The horse, not the jockey.

If you were a horse and Sang was your jockey and he fell off would you wait around for him to climb back on?

Neigh!

Been pretty busy lately with a lot of yard work and some golf.  My granddaughter turns 2 on Saturday - going to a party Sunday for her.  Looking forward to the free Wednesday concerts we go to - they start tomorrow, but there is rain in the forecast - and we could use some.  We are down more than 5 inches of rain from the average at this time.  Chicago also only had 10-11 inches of snow this year - way down from the average of 37.

We recently bought an air fryer - I make wings all the time - with no breading.  We have a Hooter's in my town, but I haven't been there for a long time ...

I used to go to the one in Times Square every March during the Beacon run. And a few other times when I had to be in town. One year I was somewhat embarrassed when a waitress recognized me. I was there once a year (maybe twice). Shock
