We are getting about the same coot. My bus driver coming hpme tonight said the Chicago Transportation Authority in a little meeting that we could get 15 inches of snow and they are getting more help for tomorrow.
When he told me that, I politely smiled.

I really want to go to see Bonnie Raitt & Jimmie Vaughn but they are playing the same night as Mule/Tedeschi Trucks Band in Chicago. Soooooooo, I'm thinking of going up to Milwaukee to see Bonnie & Jimmie. I haven't seen either of them in a long time.

In case you didn't know, Neil Young tix go on sale tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10:00 AM. He is playing Northerly Island (supposed to anyway) on August 27th. Not with Crazy Horse this time though.

Yes - got tickets for my son and I - hope it actually happens this time ... although I did already take him to see Beat in Hammond to make up for missing last year.
Also got tickets to see Jason Isbell with the 400 Unit in Rockford in July.
As much as I love Neil, over $200 seems a tad steep, even for Chicago. I might try in the regular sale tomorrow, but I imagine they will cost the same. The prices I saw were all from the venue. There were cheaper seats from the third-party sellers.

The prices include the fees - but not the tax. I got 2 for $158 each, but the Chicago tax added over $33 - so about $350 for 2 tickets. It also said that Neil wanted it that if you resell your tickets thru ticketbastard it has to be for the original price - no markups. If you use stubhub or others they can be more. Last year I got them thru stubhub and their fees were $50 a ticket. Luckily I got it all back when they cancelled.
Hmm, I saw $188 face. I figured fees would be added, hence my over $200 assumption. Even $175 is a lot, but I am not rich like you!

I'll admit it - I cried a couple of times - what an amazing show!!!
I cried too. When I heard Chuck do an intro and I knew it was going to be Soulshine. 
Fortunately I didn't catch it live, I recorded that part of the show and watched most of the second half this morning so I could fast-forward.
They did a great thing with this. My favorite parts were probably Chuck's solos. I can never get enough of him. I was thinking I can't believe how much Duane sounds like his dad. I wonder why Jaimoe and Marc Q weren't there.
When they panned the crowd I looked for Jacquie but didn't see her. I think she went.
