Damn, that's cold!!! We've had a very mild winter but we're forecast for 5 below tomorrow morning. Getting only our second snow of the winter overnight, anywhere from two to seven inches. Only have had 4" total up until now.

We are getting about the same coot. My bus driver coming hpme tonight said the Chicago Transportation Authority in a little meeting that we could get 15 inches of snow and they are getting more help for tomorrow.

We got hammered with over two feet a couple of weeks back. That heavy wet crap that is not fun to move around. We've been getting an inch or two over night this past week or so, but it is that dry powdery stuff that the wind blows everywhere and makes visibility between point A & B a hassle. Only -10 as I type... Stay warm

I think I saw that Chicago might hit -30 actual temperature in the next several days. We're not far behind three days with overnight lows of at least -15. Feeling a little Canadian with those conditions.

Luckily the snow/ice they predicted for yesterday didn't happen. Greek Islands was good as ever, brought home enough food for today's meals. Jason Isbell was great - 90 minutes of just him solo with an acoustic guitar. He has a new album coming out March 7 which is solo acoustic. The Auditorium is a great place to see a show. Sold out show, and the crowd was very respectful - quiet during the songs and stories, very few instances of people shouting out something stupid. Loved that they made people put away their phones - great to listen to a concert and not see people with their phones up taking pictures or videos the whole time. Also nice that we were home by 10:45 from a downtown show.
Yes Lee, I think that was my last time at Greek Islands. We met you for lunch on our way to see Isbell in Milwaukee.

Maybe that's it about it being windchill. We'll have that here too. Fortunately after this next week it looks really mild here for the foreseeable future. We're due another 3-4" of snow by tomorrow night, third time this week we've had that much, had snowed once all winter prior to those.

Today was brutal. Tomorrow is going to be worse. I was hoping we would be told to work from home. I probably could stay home but I guess I shouldn't.

I'm seeing End of the Line next month, then going to the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in April and have tickets for Bonnie Raitt and Jimmie Vaughan in September

I really want to go to see Bonnie Raitt & Jimmie Vaughn but they are playing the same night as Mule/Tedeschi Trucks Band in Chicago. Soooooooo, I'm thinking of going up to Milwaukee to see Bonnie & Jimmie. I haven't seen either of them in a long time.
Linnie - I'd love to see The Brothers (and you! 
) but since it is a weeknight I kind of doubt it. The ticket prices are quite reasonable though. Tickets for Warren not far from here the other night cost about the same which I found odd.
