First let me say that I have never been a big Tom Petty fan. Matter of fact, in high school, we made fun of him when he first came out (we were brutal in our music likes/dislikes.)
I watched a biography thing on him on Netflix that was really good, turns out he is quite a guy, ha, ha.
Also reading a book called, 'Music Everywhere - The Rock and Roll Roots of a Southern Town' - about Gainesville, Florida.
Not going to go out and purchase a bunch of Tom Petty but I have come around to appreciate his place in rock history.
