What's a good place to hang out before and after a show at Northerly Island?
Nothing real close, but Buddy Guy's isn't too far.....
Golfed 3 days in a row - I may be getting a little old for this....... at 50 rounds for the year so far......
Dad will be 80 in a couple months and he still plays a couple times a week at least. He belongs to a club and plays in a scramble every Wednesday. I know that isn't three days in a row, but he has been known to do that. So, you have a lot of time left to chase that little ball. I am hoping that I have that type of energy IF and when I get to that age.
Oh, and he hasn't really retired - he still goes to the office most every day. Now, that is not something I am interested in. I hope to be able to QUIT! by the time I am 67.

It is open until 4:00 AM, 5:00 on Saturday.
B.L.U.E.S. in Chicago is right across the street. 2:00 AM club. 3:00 on Saturday. I actually like that place better.
If you like jazz, there are two clubs that are also open late.

The Red Head Piano Bar is on Ontario, kind of north of the loop. 4-5 AM. They have like a business casual rule. No hats or anything. They have a nominal cover.
The Green Mill is way up on north Broadway. It's a cool place. Al Capone used to go there. In fact, he had tunnels under the building so he could escape if need be. No cover. Not sure how late they are open.
It's by The Riv where Mule has played many times.
You could hit a couple of them the same night.
