Well I slept quite well last night. Probably from one of the things they make me take. But I woke up in the middle of the night with blood pouring out of my mouth and it was everywhere in the bed. My whole face was crusted in it and yet I slept through most of it. If you ever have to have a root canal done, don't.

Had a superb road trip. Grin

Two Tinsley shows, one with Slim, the other with Sandman. A couple of outstanding evenings! Took in an Iowa Cubs game with Chad yesterday.

Also, completely fleeced a bunch of Iowans at Texas Hold 'Em Cool

The Tinsley show in Cedar Rapids, was one of the most enjoyable concerts I've ever attended. The venue acoustics, the sound mix, it was just incredible. Truly sounded like you were listening to a studio recording, everything was crystal clear and you could hear each performer at his best. Just amazing.

I qualify as low motivated. Our six year old niece takes a lot of work if you aren't used to it.

Well I just received some wonderful news. My mom has been very sick. She has a cancerous stomach tumor which was successfully removed. And she doesn't have to have chemo. Just a lot of rehab.

Cried a bit.

She told me she would be okay. Smile

Saw Jason Isbell in Cincinnati Saturday night. Superb show. Did Whipping Post for an encore.

He is undoubtedly my favorite touring performer at this point in time. Great tunes and a smoking hot band, especially when his wife, Amanda Shires, is with them. His guitar player is Sadler Vaden and he is a great player. Jason is a great guitarist in his own right.
