Allman Brothers Band’s Beacon Legacy Continues

According to Pollstar it’s a new year and that means it’s time for The Allman Brothers Band to take up residence at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The band kick off their touring season with an eight-show run March 14 -23, with ticket prices remaining the same as 2001’s: $45.99 to $65.99.

Last year’s nine nights grossed more than $1.5 million and was, needless to say, completely sold out. Their 2000 stint was an impressive 13-night run, grossing almost $2.3 million. The tradition began in 1994 and became an annual event in ‘96. The blues-rock icons have played as many as 18 consecutive gigs at the theatre.
