Kim Payne is the original Allman Brothers Band Roadie.
He was there from the beginning through his California friendship with Gregg.
Kim was a devoted, hardworking, hell raising, motorcycle riding Brother.
The best friend and worst enemy anybody ever had.
He struggled with ill health the last ten years of his life but had found peace in a post band life.
He shared his remembrances in a personal book he published.
He rode hard and lived to laugh about it.
For those who knew him he will be missed, warts and all.
