Hey there sweet family,

Only two weeks until the Crossroads festival in Chi-town! If you’ve been to this show or seen the DVD, you know it is a very special day of music. And besides the ABB shows in NYC, where else can you go and hear the Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, BB King, Sheryl Crow, Hubert Sumlin, Steve Winwood, Johnny Winter, Robert Randolph and many, many more. What a day! We are looking forward to hearing your reports from the scene — please post in our www.allmanbrothersband.com Forum and Guest Book.

Speaking of special music, there is a lot of it available or coming soon from our friends at Hittin’ The Note.

Warren’s team has been busy going through the tapes from his incredible Christmas Jam shows and put together a new compilation, volume 3. Volume 3 is full of powerhouse performances from the likes of Phil and Friends, Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ and Blues Traveler, plus a great Gov’t Mule show with a rotating cast of all-star bass players. This show happened during the transition period following Allen Woody’s death, when Mule toured with several different bassists, and both Oteil Burbridge of the Allman Brothers Band and Dave Schools of Widespread Panic are featured here. Check out Oteil’s jazzy runs on “Sco-Mule,” or Schools’ massive, Woody-esque bottom end on “Blind Man In The Dark.” Smokin’! Pre-order this fantastic CD at:

If you thought it was a bit of a slow summer in ABB land, think again! Lots of great music to enjoy.

OK, we promised a Gregg Allman poster special if you read this far, so here it is. As you may recall, Gregg has a Facebook page and we recently passed 5500 fans after only two months! You can become a fan at

So, what’s the special deal? Well, to celebrate over 5000 fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter, we are going to give away a copy of the Midnight Rider Special Limited Edition print to a lucky Facebook fan! This poster, published by Tamarack Press, is a signed, limited edition print. Gregg Allman hand wrote out the lyrics to his classic song specially for this edition. This beautiful print was published in an edition of just 350 copies. Every individually numbered print was personally hand signed by Gregg Allman. Each print was letterpress printed by hand in 3 colors using archival inks. The paper was mouldmade in England and is acid-free to last for generations.

Each member of the Allman Brother Band received a framed copy of Midnight Rider from Gregg Allman & publisher Ed Finnegan to celebrate the band’s 40th Anniversary this past summer at their show in Bethel Woods, New York.

We are going to select one lucky Facebook fan at random sometime on July 4, 2010. So you need to sign up by July 3 to be safe! Just become a Gregg Allman fan on Facebook and you are automatically entered into the drawing. If you’d like to read more about this print, visit http://www.greggallman.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=NS-Admin_Messages&file=listmessage&mid=25 on Gregg’s site.

One more quick bonus — our brother Goldtop sent a link to this cool video of the song Bread and Butter — I love the comment below the video noticing the lead singer is “Bill Clinton meets Little Richard!” If that doesn’t drag you in, nothing will!

Well, that wraps it up for this Peach-O-Gram! It’s mighty hot here in Raleighwood, North Cackilacky… time to head back to the pool and debate between mo’ mojitos or Sang-ria…

Take care and know that each and every one of you is loved!
