The Allman Brothers Band

Peach-O-Gram for April 15, 2003

Hey there sweet family,

More dates have been added to the Allman Brothers Band’s 2003 tour. Read ’em and smile at:

https://allmanbrothersband.com

One of the most anticipated dates of the tour this year is the ABB’s return to Red Rocks, near Denver, September 19. Tickets for this sure to be a-may-zen show go on sale to the general public Friday, April 18, at 5:00 PM Mountain time. BUT … you’re not the general public, are you?? You’re a member of the Peach Corps so you get a … … … a pre-sale! Yessss!

The pre-sale begins Wednesday, April 16, at 10:00 AM Mountain time. Yup, this is a departure from the Peach Corps tradition of holding pre-sales in the evening but consideration is being given to radio stations in the area who are co-sponsoring the event.

To participate, go to TicketMaster.com at the peaching hour with your credit card information in hand. The password you’ll need (all one word) is: carvedinstone

Incredibly, there is no ticket limit. How’s that for cool? 🙂

This pre-sale is an opportunity the Allman Brothers Band offers to members of its Peach Corps — those fans who are registered members at https://allmanbrothersband.com.

All orders will be double-checked against Peach Corps records and are subject to invalidation for any reason. The email address you use to purchase tickets must match your Peach Corps account; Peach Corps accounts must be created at least 10 days in advance of a pre-sale to participate; creation of a Peach Corps account does not guarantee pre-sale ticket success.

Speaking of carvedinstone, Red Rocks is set to release a CD of its greatest live recordings April 19. Red Rocks Volume I: Carved In Stone features ten songs by artists who have made musical history at Red Rocks from 1994 to 2002, including “Ain’t Wastin’ Time No More” from August 12, 2001 by the ABB.

According to Erik Dyce, Director of Marketing for the City & County of Denver’s Division of Theatres & Arenas, which owns and operates Red Rocks, profits from Red Rocks Volume I: Carved In Stone will go to the ‘Preserve The Rocks Fund’, a donation-driven reserve dedicated to the rehabilitation and preservation of the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

The CD, priced at $8.99, will be available in Colorado at all Best Buy stores and nationally on bestbuy.com April 19. The CD will also be available at the new Visitor Center at Red Rocks in late April.
