In keeping with the DMB tradition of performing benefit concerts in significant U.S. city parks, we are pleased to announce that Dave Matthews Band and very special guest The Allman Brothers Band are confirmed to play on the Meadow at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, September 8, 2007. Dave Matthews Band’s benefit concert will be the first of its magnitude in Piedmont Park and with the return of Georgia’s own legendary Allman Brothers Band, is a concert that should not be missed! Proceeds will benefit Piedmont Park and will aid in the enhancement and preservation of the park as a vital, urban green space offering cultural and recreational resources to all who visit.
A presale for members of the Warehouse, the official Dave Matthews Band fan association, and Members of the Piedmont Park Conservancy will commence on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. ET and run until 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 7, 2007 unless presale ticket allotments sell out prior to this date. Tickets and VIP packages purchased only through these presales will allow early admission into the Piedmont Park concert one hour prior to the admission time for the general public. The Warehouse presale will be offered through Warehouse instant ticketing which is a real time sale, first come, first served.

General admission tickets will cost $45 and there will be a 6-ticket limit per Warehouse member.
The Piedmont Park VIP package will be available to Warehouse members and Members of the Piedmont Park Conservancy for $250 per person. The package will include the price of your ticket, early entry to the venue, a VIP pass, a gourmet buffet, beverages, separate restrooms and an exclusive area from which to watch the show. The price of the VIP package is not tax deductible, however, the net proceeds from the VIP tickets will be paid directly to the Piedmont Park Conservancy. There is a limit of 6 packages per Warehouse member on all VIP packages.
The Piedmont Park benefit concert is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 8, 2007. Members of the Warehouse and PPC, as well as VIP patrons, who have purchased tickets during the presales will be allowed early entry at 3:00 p.m. ET. Doors open for the general public at 4:00 p.m. ET. Further details regarding entrance locations will be announced in the near future.
