Hey there sweet family,

A reminder that Jaimoe’s Jass Band will perform as a quartet Saturday (Nov. 4) in Simsbury, CT at the Maple Tree Cafe. The Maple Tree’s address and phone number are:

Meanwhile, get ready Raleigh – tonight’s the night the Derek Trucks Band and Susan Tedeschi Band roll into town at the beautiful Meymandi Concert Hall. Beautiful might be an understatement. Check this out: http://daviscrossfield.com/rnc9.jpg What the picture can’t show is how splendid the acoustics are. Speaking of being on the road, a big “Travel Safe! Can’t Wait to See You!” to everyone headed to Ellwood City, PA and LanaRoo Saturday, November 11. As always, Frank & Donna Lagana graciously host this rockin’ event at their Keystone Bar, with Matt Barranti serving as musical ring master. We’ve heard Ron, aka “Goldtop”, of the Good Life Rhythm & Blues Review is joining the fun. Whoo hoo!

Finally, on behalf of Layla Allman and Lane Four, thank you so much for your incredible support during the Last Band Standing contest. Lane Four came in second – by only 25 votes, and the votes were in the thousands! They know many of you supported them and thank you so much for the opportunity!

Lane Four will continue to play, and they are beginning to write their own music. Stay tuned for news about their new web site and in the meantime you can keep posted about them at: www.myspace.com/lanefour.

Those of you who’ve been asking about 2006 Instant Lives, good news – pre-sale information is coming soon.

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana and Rowland
