Attention Bay Area members of the Peach Corps: Tonight’s the night (Saturday, August 9) Lane Four rocks the Shoreline before Linkin Park and Chris Cornell from the Projekt Revolution Tour. Lane Four is one of three bands that won the opportunity when MTV2 encouraged over 150 bands to participate in a contest that allowed the help of family, friends and fans to vote for them online to be considered for the opening slot. MTV then chose three bands among the 12 top vote getters to perform at the concert – including Lane Four.

Lane Four is fronted by two remarkable young alternative hard rock artists: lead singer, Layla Brooklyn Allman, the 15-year old daughter of Gregory and 15-year old Nick Loiacono, a dynamic, scorching and technically creative guitarist. Austin Dunn on bass guitar and Eric Perkins on drums complete the group.

As we’ve grown fond of saying, “Go, Lane Four!! Whoo hoo!”

Kind spirits that you are, we know you’re always looking for good causes to support and here are two:

The “No Strings Attached” program provides guitars and instruction to needy kids who would love to play guitar but just can’t afford one. The program provides guitars and instruction free … no strings attached. They find people willing to donate old guitars, fix them up, and get them to kids in need. If you donate that old guitar you aren’t using, you just might change a kid’s life. For more information visit:
