The Allman Brothers Band

Newsletter: Peach-O-Gram 6-2-2004

Hey there sweet family,

Whoa, stand back! There’s pre-order and party news to share with you today.

Thirty-five years after their debut, there’s still no other group like The Allman Brothers Band – as if you didn’t know that. 😉

Stand Back: The Anthology, being released June 8, is the first collection to feature tracks spanning The ABB’s entire 35 years, from their groundbreaking work on Capricorn until moving to Arista in the early ’80s, followed by Sony in the ’90s, and their current Sanctuary-distributed, self-owned Peach Records. These 32 recordings, each newly digitally remastered, include at least one cut from each of The Brothers’ 13 studio albums plus the quintessential Live At Fillmore East. The package also includes a deluxe 24-page color booklet containing numerous photos, an essay and detailed credits.
