MusicToday is holding three Allman Brothers Band pre-sales this week. All begin Wednesday, June 14, at 10 AM venue time.
Two of the pre-sales end Friday, June 16, at 5 PM venue time. They are:
August 11 (Fri) – TULLIO ARENA Erie, PA
August 27 (Sun) – TOYOTA PAVILION Scranton, PA
The third pre-sale, which ends Thursday, June 15, at 5 PM venue time is:
August 23 (Wed) – VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEATRE Virginia Beach, VA

Speaking of peachy people to work with, Hittin’ the Note, Sony Music and The Derek Trucks Band are all working together on a pre-sale of the new Derek Trucks Band DVD, “Songlines Live!”. Recorded at The Park West in Chicago on January 28, 2006, this 2-hour/20-song DVD captures the magic of the dTb in front of a live audience.
The DVD will be released on July 11, 2006, but you can get in on a great giveaway, and have your name entered in a sweet prize drawing, before then by participating in the pre-sale. Dig this:
*All* pre-sale orderees (Is that a word? Ah, who cares? I like the way it sounds! 🙂 ) will receive a band-signed set list from the Chicago show with original artwork by Yonrico Vondez Scott. (Aside: if you’ve never seen any of Yonrico’s art, trust us, it’s Zensational!) In addition, a drawing will be held on July 11th for one SG guitar signed by Derek; one original drumhead painting by Yonrico signed by all the band members; and 5 glass slides played by Derek.
