The Allman Brothers Band

Newsletter – Peach-O-Gram 3/22/2004

Hey there sweet family,

Beacon! Beacon! Beacon! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

What a wonderful time the Allman Brothers Band and the Peach Corps are having at The Beacon Theatre in NYC! There are new songs (Afro Blue, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, Why Does Love Got to be So Sad, and Key to the Highway to name a few), special guests (Thom Doucette, Chris Robinson, Susan Tedeschi, Rob Barraco, Kofi Burbridge, and more), groovy parties (KCJimmy, the Hospitality Sweeties, Left Coast Groovies, Gary Nagle, et al – you’re the best!), surprises (Oteil’s “Hotel Shot” gig with Lamdog and the Peach Corps Choir, Marsha Marsha Marsha’s excellent adventure on Weekend Today, and an a-may-zen-ly cosmic auction that raised over $2,400 for the HepC Foundation and Rock & Wrap It Up). Are we having fun??? Yesssss! And there’s still much more to come! Whooo hooo!

Think my exuburance is over the top? Hah! Trip on over to https://allmanbrothersband.com where the Guest Book, Reviews, Forums, and Pix will reveal how completely laid-back and understated I’m being ๐Ÿ™‚ Looks like I may have picked up some of Rowland’s British reserve! ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s safe to say that after the Beacon! Beacon! Beacon! one of the most anticipated venues the ABB plays is Red Rocks. This year the Brothers are headed back there again in a special co-bill with String Cheese Incident Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10.

Also appearing are Chris Robinson & The New Earth Mud. There is a strict 4 ticket limit per person for these shows. All purchases will be reviewed and over-buys will be cancelled. Tickets are $52.50 Reserved (Rows 25 – 60) and $42.50 General Admission (Rows 1 – 24 and Rows 60 -> the back) and are available at:

The rest of the ABB’s summer tour schedule is coming together show by show. For up-to-date information check the Calendar on https://allmanbrothersband.com often.

That’s it for now! See many of you Thursday!
