AllmanBrothersBand.com is blessed by many extraordinary writers whose eloquent and heartfelt words make the Guest Book and Forums such a pleasure to read. HopHead, BillThames and BoBo are a few that come to mind. Yesterday TanDan posted an original story in the Guest Book that struck such a universal chord in folks who’ve read it (i.e., most cried) that we decided to share it on the home page and include a link right here:

Thank you, TanDan!

Take care and know that *you* are loved,

Lana and Rowland

peach s. In case you were wondering why you received multiple Peach-O-Grams announcing the Beacon pre-sale, the POGs appeared not to be going out when they needed to. We checked wires, tightened cords, plugged and unplugged things, eventually kicked the darn machine a few times. Nothing happened. So, we went to the top secret Hittin’ the Web emergency back up system to send the Peach-O-Grams out. Then we went to bed, smiling and happy, convinced that all was well … only to wake up and discover that the original email system had kicked in, not once, not twice, not three times, but four – and sent the Peach-O-Grams out too. Amazing what a little competition will do.
