The Allman Brothers Band

Newsletter – ABB-Moogis-O-Gram 12-11-2006

Hey there sweet family,

If there’s one thing we know about you, it’s that you’ve always wanted to experience the Allman Brothers Band’s entire legendary (and getting more legendary all the time) Beacon run … to hear every a*may*zen note the ABB hits; to be knocked out by their song selections; cheer when special guests stride on stage; roar, weak in the knees, for more when Little Martha starts to play.

You’d also love to be at the parties, in the clubs and restaurants where everyone hangs out … maybe even score a backstage pass.

Now, no matter where in the world you live, your dreams could come true because the Allman Brothers Band, in conjunction with Moogis (at last!) is considering bringing the Beacon home to you! Yesss! You read that right, the Beacon could be yours, baby!

During their traditional end of March run, every Allman Brothers Band show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC (12 or more!) could be webcast with multiple high definition cameras, in full stereo sound! The shows could then be streamed live, and looped until the next show starts.

After the ABBeacon run these historic performances and merriment could be available to be streamed. Please know that they will not be available for download (copyright clearance would be a nightmare). And get this, the Beacon could be just the tip of the niceberg – more shows, by many more artists could follow via your free one year subscription to Moogis included with the Beacon package.

The reason we’re saying “could” so much is that all this is expensive and risky. It can’t happen without your support.

The Allman Brothers Band and Moogis are willing to go for it, but they need to know if you really, really want it.

The cost would be $100 for the entire Beacon run and would include your free one year subscription to Moogis.

Are you visualizing it yet? Do you really, really want it? Of major importance is that you have to want it enough to VOTE to let the ABB and Moogis know that you do … or don’t. Please go to:

http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconyes.html to vote yes
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconmaybe.html to vote that you might be interested
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconno.html to vote no

Voting is limited to one vote per IP address period (i.e. not one per day, just one per IP).

We can’t emphasize enough how important your vote is. Without it, The Allman Brothers Band and Moogis have no way of gauging your interest and knowing whether or not they should kick their remarkable plan into gear.

If you help make this truly magical experience happen, along with the shows, the Moogis Crew will hang out with the Band and Peach Corps, capturing backstage excitement and full on party fun for you to be part of too! Granted, you’ll have to provide your own Jello shots, but big deal!

Can you tell we’re a *little* excited by all this? (!!!) You should be too – enough to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE:

Please go to:

http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconyes.html to vote yes
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconmaybe.html to vote that you might be interested
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/beaconno.html to vote no

Voting really is limited to one vote per IP address period (i.e. not one per day, just one per IP).

Talk about mind boggling – The Allman Brothers Band and Moogis essentially want to change your concert experience forever! No matter where in the world you live, no matter how big or small your travel budget is, or how hooked up you are, they want to bring the shows/the scene home to you!

The only question is (drum roll) do you want it? We sure as heck do! Cast your vote today.

Together, we can make magical musical history happen!

Take care and know that you are loved,

Lana and Rowland … on behalf of the Allman Brothers Band and Mooooooooogis!!
