MH...you are not a lurker! 🙂
Hey Pnutt....right on...speak out, bro...
Saw the best damn band in the land Tuesday night in Pa. 🙂 Rave On... :cowboy:
MH,
Keep it and keep'em guessing!
And now for something completely different....
As far as Monty Python goes, I have just these few words to add:
"BUT I DON'T LIKE SPAM!!!!"
Buppalo, that was darn intelligent for someone from the south! Ooopppsss. That may have offended someone.
In Stormy's honor:
(Two englishmen)
Is this the right room for an argument?
I've told you once.
No, you haven't.
Yes I have.
No, when?
Just now.
No you didn't.
Yes I did.
Didn't.
Did.
No you didn't.
I'm telling you I did. Oh, I'm sorry is this the five minute argument or the full half hour?
Oh, (realizing) just the five minute.
We'll start the time. Anyway, I did.
You most certainly did not.
Now, let's get one thing quite clear, I most certainly did.
You did not.
Yes I did.
No you didn't.
Yes I did.
Now look, this isn't an argument!
Yes it is.
No it isn't.
Yes it is.
No it isn't, it's just contadiction.
No it isn't.
Yes it is.
No it isn't.
Yes, you just contradicted me.
No I didn't.
Yes you did.
No no no no.
Yes you did.
No I didn't.
You most certainly did. This is futile.
No it isn't.
I came here for a good argument.
No you didn't, you came here for an argument.
An argument is not the same as contradiction.
Can be.
No it can't. An argument is a collective series of statements to establish a definite proposition.
No it isn't.
It is! It isn't just contradiction.
Look, if I argue with you I must take a contrary position.
Well, it just isn't saying no it isn't.
Yes it is.
No it isn't. Argument is an intellectual process, contradiction is just an automatic naysaying of what a person says.
No it isn't.
Yes it is!
Not at all. (Ding) Good morning thank you.
What?
That's it. Good morning.
Well, I was just getting interested.
Sorry, the five minutes is up.
That was never five minutes just now.
Yes it was.
No it wasn't.
I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to keep on arguing.
(Reaches in pocket and pays another $5)
Well?
Well what?
I just paid you for five more minutes.
No you didn't.
Yes I did!
And so it goes. I'm just darn glad that I'm always right.
Stormy! You're still the man. You're square on the peg.

I am on my way down the shore to visit my mother (she lives in Cape May, NJ), and my husband, bro-in-law stopped in on a friend's house, (by way of the winery) - anyway he had a 'fancy thinking box' and i decided to post my HAPPY EASTER wishes to all my good friends here on the GB...
BTW, if you see a new character on this site by the name of BurntSkull; don't let the screen name scare you....he is a good friend of mine and HoochieCoochieGirl's (Yo Stace it's DARB!!) - Y'all be sure to say hello!
Love ya's! Have a great easter if thats your basket....peach out! :naughty:
How many years have it been, since you guys were in SWEDEN ???
Get you asses here, I have been waiting for about 10 years to see you, and thats TO LONG.
Got my tix for Mansfield,Ma. Me,Dan&Mark. The Dead in June, the Brothers in July. It's gonna be a hot summah.
I remember the old Monty Python, The Piranah Brothers, Austrailian Wines & the penguin on my television set.
I have a question from a observation here....MundeleinHoward
has been poping out of lurk mode quite a bit lately...my question? Is he not just a regular poster now with all his posts and surpassed lurk mode cloaking status:lol:
I drove down to Gastonia today listened to Dreams from the Beacon this year. Thanks Wayne. Listened to the Dead with Duane, Gregg and others. Thanks Stormy. It was a nice drive down 77 & 85. Although it was cold and rainy, the trees and grass were all so beautiful in that new green shade. It was a nice escape.
Hey Stormy is that Duane talking durning Love Light? That was some rap. I think it's Duane. Anyway cool tunes for a cool trip. Thanks GB. Peace.
Hope everyone's havin' a good weekend.
(Well said, Buppalo!)
Well, how 'bout a little music controversy?
To be honest, its not the music - its the business end of it. Or lack of.
Hittin' The Note just made its debut in central Arkansas an hour ago. Dale K played High Cost, Rockin' Horse, Heart of Stone, and Instrumental Illness. So, what's the controversy? The DJ had to go out and buy his own copy! I can think of 5 stations in this market that have the format to play this CD. NONE have been serviced. Of course, this is a small market in the world of markets, but the biggest omission is in not servicing the production company that produces the House Of Blues Radio Shows. As of yesterday, it still hadn't been received, even though it was asked for two weeks ago, and it should have been serviced two months ago.
In the last couple of years, and especially in the last couple of months, I have communicated with 4 people who are involved in Support Staff for the ABB, and offered my free help in 'spreading the music'. Nothing has happened. Perhaps the entire music industry moves at 1/2 the speed of smell. I don't. I do have connections at all 5 of the radio stations, and would LOVE to help get this thing on the air. I've also been successful in getting some artists on the HOB national radio shows, including getting the ball rolling on a full hour Tom Dowd special that was broadcast the end of December.
Ya know, if I had someone with a little experience willing to work for me for free, I think I'd let 'em. As for now, I'm off to the arena to do Disney On Ice ......... again. And again. And again .................
Anyone checking out "Boston" this summer I scored Row B on a pre-sale for the Tweeter Center in Camden.
The Dead and Dylan sounds like something to experince this summer. As recommened many times by my old friend the bum in boston i will go and this time open my mind and catch the feeling, or give it my best shot..lol As for the brothers ill catch them too always do sometime when i least expect it i find the time to make some "great roadtrip" and it is always worth the time and effort spent. All because the music is that wonderful!! As for the library i talked to them this morning and filled out an application so happens they have a part time job coming up.. Hey im not called bullhead for no reason... lol Happy Easter and many prayers to all..
eapfp *s*
Bird.. you ignorant ##%$...ohh sorry i meant jane..
feel better Tony?
i used to love the old Monty Python skits where Cleese or one of the boys would walk in to the room and start arguning with the person in the room and suddenly realize that he/she was in the wrong room cause THIS room was for INSULTS and the room for ARGUMENTS was down the hall...
M-Howard.. great quote...
and Randy... you are always "right there" with your thoughts, my friend!
Nice story, Lee!
I say do the Bird Method of free expression of speech. You vent and opinionate without regard to feelings, leaving a trail of continual agitation behind you, interrupted with the regular incident of REALLY torqing somebody off. A virtual minefield of annoyed and disrespected souls in my wake. YEAH! Ya don't like it, Hey, join the club of the Birdoffended masses.
