thank you so much Rainy for posting. So glad to hear he's staying positive even though he is sick. he is thought about, prayed for and loved EVERYDAY!! When our family prays each nite, both my sons remember him and lift him up. And I know that prayers will be answered.
A message to all of the family here...
Joesph is sick ... but is it expected , he is a strong man and is toughing it out, like we all know he can and will continue to do and be brave and curse the cancer... the battle has really begun.. but his mental attitude is positive and that is his greatest weapon...
His peg was infected as he suspected , he remains calm and actually took care of it.. but the nurse also fixed him up and all is as good as it can be... for the time...
Prayers, positive energy, love, messages of strength and courage are all things he needs to read and hear... He is surrounded by all his brothers and sisters , friends and family who all care so much about him..
Keep the well wishes coming .. he Thanks all of you... He will post again when he is not so sick....

I am almost ashamed to admit, Kevin and I have one of Joe Dan Petty's Ol Waylon lps , the one Ways covers Midnight Rider and does Im A Ramblin Man (dont mess around with any ol Ramblin Man) Do you love it?
I know I should probably donate to the Big House Museum, but Im too attached..Cant you pix our boys way back when listening to that lp and feeling honored Waylon covered an ABB tune? and even more of a compliment to Dickey-boy, Waylon found his own Ramblin Man to boot. Leave perfect alone.

Last nights show "WOW"
Those who know me, know I love a good show and will criticize those that we love to see and hear play.
Often I get annoyed at the fact that I feel Los Angeles shows are sometimes a greatest hits or phoned in show.
Last night I felt like I had a true east coast, in your face show.
Derek was pushing it! kofi was in good spirits and Oteil was in the O zone.
Now I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment, but I have always thought that Susan has pipes and she has been improving on guitar.
Last night, for the first time I thought she really REALLY added to a song with her guitar playing at a DT show. I am not talking a Derek and Susan show, or an ABB show...
The band was on fire!
There were a ton of photographers and videographers... not sure how it will be released but I want this one!
I should also mention that I was bummed that HOB puts seats on the floor for the guitar comp and was dancin' from the side...
Last nights show was the fuel I need to get to March.

Dusty's also having some personal troubles. Please keep him in your thoughts that there's a way out of his most current dilemma. He's had a fair share and a sweet, dobro strumming brother like him is in my heart always.
