Have to be brief because I got to get to work... Last nights show "WOW" Those who know me, know I love a good show and will criticize those that we love to see and hear play. Often I get annoyed at the fact that I feel Los Angeles shows are sometimes a greatest hits or phoned in show. Last night I felt like I had a true east coast, in your face show. Derek was pushing it! kofi was in good spirits and Oteil was in the O zone. Now I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment, but I have always thought that Susan has pipes and she has been improving on guitar. Last night, for the first time I thought she really REALLY added to a song with her guitar playing at a DT show. I am not talking a Derek and Susan show, or an ABB show... The band was on fire! There were a ton of photographers and videographers... not sure how it will be released but I want this one! I should also mention that I was bummed that HOB puts seats on the floor for the guitar comp and was dancin' from the side... Last nights show was the fuel I need to get to March.
