OK I posted this yesterday but with so many Beacon posts it would have been easy to miss. If you would like to sponsor my daughter in a fund raiser for the Albuquerque Youth Symphony, please PM me and I will send the adress to send the check to. Thanks to all the generous folk who responded yesterday,I left the address at home AGAIN so I'll get it to ya manana. I will post this one more time tommorrow and that will be the end of this. To Terrri, get well soon! To Clay, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

AOL SPAM filters suck. Never got my POG but was assisted by kind souls on the site. I even changed my Mail Controls to accept all mail and still nothing. Do have about 100 crap E-mails to sort through though. I went cheap on the presale and went directly to the $49 seats. Managed to get Lower Balcony Row A, near the center aisle for Thursday March 18 and March 25. Have sat there before and they are great seats for view and sound. The crowd is a little laid back sometimes though. Thanks to Rowland, Lana and those who helped me with the POG situation, I appreciate it. See you there. Going to The DTB show on Sunday. Anyone wants to do a preshow get together let me know. I'll see you there Pam. Be safe, John

Hey Rowland, Thanks for sending out the "resend." I got that sometime after 1:00 it looks like, according to my home computer. I'll see if I can figure out any mistakes on my end, but just a heads up for you: I'm one of the folks who didn't get the original, and my provider is Time Warner's Roadrunner. I never had a problem getting any POGs before...this was a first. I'm certainly not complaining, and like I said, I'll check to see if it was my mistake, but I thought you might want to know all of the variables to see if it can help you. Maybe that info helps, maybe not, but I just thought it couldn't hurt to share. Thanks again for everything you guys do! ~edit to add thoughts to Clay and his friend's family and all of their friends~

Congrats to those who got tickets and to those who still want tickets, there will be plenty of great ones (they're all good!) in the public on-sale so don't despair. For those who did not get their Peach-o-Grams, here's a rundown: a) Make sure the email address associated with your account is correct. Menu->Your Account->Change Your Info, then verify your email address in the form. b) Make sure you are signed up for the Peach-o-Gram: Community->Newsletter, and the box next to Peach-O-Gram should be checked. That's all it takes for us to send you the email. For you to actually receive the email is another matter! Here are the obstacles only you can control: a) Mindspring and Earthlink users: if you have your email set so it sends back a confirmation that we have to manually answer before the email is delivered to you, you won't get it. We can't process thousands of these "please confirm that you are a real person sending the email" forms. b) AOL.com users: Check your AOL spam filter settings. Complain to AOL if you don't get the Peach-o-Gram. It was sent. 1/3 of you are on AOL, and that means we send them over 12,000 emails whenever we send out a POG. Their "sophisticated" spam filters often decide 12,000 emails must mean we're a spammer and they start silently deleting the emails we send them. ("Silent" because their email server tells us the email was delivered OK). c) Yahoo.com users: Yahoo! has become a real pain. About 20% of you are on Yahoo, and many Yahoo users abandon their email accounts but don't delete them from our database. After Yahoo! receives some number of emails in a row for abandoned accounts, they assume we are spamming and stop accepting emails from us. We have to write them every time and ask them to take us back off the bad list, and then go through the database and try to figure out which email addresses are no longer valid and remove them. I haven't seen a problem with Hotmail yet -- would be interesting to know if any hotmail.com users did not receive their "o-gram." We really do try to get the word out!! best, Rowland

Hey! Just another quick note for thanks to Lana and Rowland and some others here - when all was said and done, I ended up with one e-mail from Rowland, 2 e-mails from Lana and 3 PMs - all containing the presale password! So, although I'm probably not going this year, it's great to see the "family" pulling together. Oh, BTW - I was just looking at TM - an Orch row R was just available for the 19th....

I received the original POG at 3:11 this morning. Luckily, I had already received the re-sent POG in time for the pre-sale. Thanks again to Rowland and Lana for their thoroughness in trying to make sure we all knew about the pre-sale.

TerriB - sorry about your stay in the hospital -- but if ya gotta be there, morphine drip is the only way to go! Get well and get out of there soonest. Clay - your buddy Chris and his family are in my thoughts and prayers tonight ... and so are you, my friend. Sheep - I loved to read what you said about our famABBly here because I feel exactly the same way. To all - congrats to all who scored their tickets tonight and to those who will be getting them in the next few days, as well. Let NO one stay home because tickets weren't available! Keep trying, keep trying, and you'll eventually score. There are always some tickets released on the day of the show -- so c'mon to the Upper West Side and rock out!
