Hey there sweet family, Nope. It's not Gavin DeGraw (swoon), although Gavin will be playing a festival with the ABB in Lansing, MI this summer which we're (surprise) definitely going to, and hoping for more. Yessss! :clapping: Guess I *should* have said the initials are easy for me to remember 😉 Take care and know that you are loved, Lana

Does anyone know if bdwalton77 is Bill Walton's handle? If so he just posted in the Danny Joe Brown RIP thread in the Forum under Anything Goes.

On the other hand, if he just kinda' ambles on in the stage entrance, is hanging there in the wings as they come off, says, "Hi, fellows--mind if I sit in on one?" Bet they could change the setlist on the fly....

Chitown - you left out the quote about Roger checking into how much Clapton could get PAID for sitting in. Greedy Mofo. Perhaps that's better suited for the conversation between Roger and ABB Mgmt though.

EC- “ Roger, Eric. I see that the Allman Brothers Band are playing an extended gig at the Beacon. Would it be a bit of alright if I went over and sat in with them for a spell? I had done some work with one of their members some years ago. Poor chap spilled his scooter and passed on. Quite the shame. He was really quite talented”. RF- “I don’t know Eric. You know how I feel about that sort of thing. Besides, I’m not sure they would be up for it. You might steal their thunder as it is. And what about the security issues”? EC-“ But Roger, I’d really like the chance to jam a bit with this Derek Trucks fellow. He is really quite wonderful on the slide. And that Warren Haynes is quite good also. I hear they have been playing some of my old songs. It would really be quite a kick Roger. Can you look into it at least”? RF- “I’m not sure Eric. I hear the Fire Marshals are concerned about safety at that Theater. We can’t risk your safety Eric.” EC- “Well enough than. Maybe another time.”

badlittledoggie, excellent post! I might add the recent study which indicates that the feds have quietly and gradually greatly been restricting what documents are available to the public under the Freedom of Information act. Well done, bld!
