Correct Lefty... and the flu has hit here :(. Hey Tyler!
My wife went behind my back and ordered me the "flying peach tye-dyed 2005 t-shirt" from HTN. Thanks Joe for providing such good merchandise. I will probably wear it till it stinks. LOL Chaz's mule shows go out Monday. Chaz, if you are reading this, give the Mule a chance, they will grow on you.
Happy birthday, Rich. Marsha and I wish you the best. I sure hope I get to hang out with you again someday.
John F,
call me collect! 215-698-6663.
If not, call work tomorrow.
Family, thanks for the use of bandwith
to get my message in a bottle to my brother from another mother on the other side.
Goin out west where they appreciate me!
I have tix to see Alison Kraus & Union Station at the U of NH a week from tonight. I'll be really happy if Jerry Douglas plays Little Martha on the dobro.
That must have been a pleasant surprise in Atlanta.
Doin' fine Tyler! Your package gets mailed tomorrow.
southpaw that weather sounds awful...75 here, although I think a change is coming...
yup Jack, the same down here. the wind is just howling. The door to my entrance is a sliding glass door. The horizonal snow has covered it, major drifts.....good thing the rockies are in CA:lol:no basaball here today if it were .....the springs is pretty much shut down, local tv crawer says CSPD:cop: wants people off the roads unless nessesary....
That was a Glowing:glow: review easymichael
Alison K is a hottie, besides her and the band being top notch. I just love her voice, sounds like a very good show.

Happy birthday to Brofan! Good evening everyone. How is everyone today?
Saw Alison Krauss & Union Station @ the Fox in Atlanta on Saturday night (4/9/05). Very good show.
Jerry Douglas, who has been with her band for several years now, is a genius at playing the Dobro. At one point, while the rest of the band took a break off stage, he did a great solo version of "Little Martha."
Tommy, The snow is deep here also and still coming down. I don't think as hard as morning and mid-day, but the wind is making it hard to tell. You can see slush under the snow in the street, so a hard freeze tonight would be nasty. Still supposed to be back in the high 60's in 2 days!
Helen, I wish I was going and might have picked Wanee over the Beacon , but I had made the Beacon plans when the Wanee fest was announced (I'd bet I'm not the only one caught in that either/or pinch).
P. S. Scott, I gave Rico your "request" after the show, and he said they could do it. I don't know if that means they *will*, but your request was made.
Happy Birthday, Rich! :fanfare: Enjoy your day!

What a beautiful night of music and friendship! Thanks to Greg C for organizing the pre-show gathering. I hope I remembered everyone, but HTW-ers and list-ers and tapers I saw and met yesterday included:
Emily and Jim B, Lana and Shey, Rowland and daughter Sarah, Kirby and Lisa, Greg and Meredith, Tunney and Tracy, Mark and Tricia Johnson, Thomas Pope, Holt, Rob_in_NC, and Steven Gatto.
I asked Derek about when was the last time he's had something thrown at him onstage, and he laughed and indicated that it's been quite some time. Thanks to Joe for "ushering" that idiot right on out of there! Derek had his eyes closed and was "in the zone" when this happened, and I wondered how long it would take him to get back into the flow of the music. Not long!
Cool new Spring Summer 2005 Tour poster! I LOVE it and had all of the guys sign it. Numbered and signed by the artist, too.
I liked the Carolina Theater; the MC (manager?) said there were 900 people in the house last night. It was a nice, appreciative audience--except for one guy. I hope the renovation donation included in the ticket price goes towards improved PA equipment--Marty did a great job in wrestling with limited equipment, I thought.
I REALLY needed that night of astounding music and friendship. I loved the choice of songs. Lana told me I was glowing after the show, and I believe her! Thanks for all of your love and hospitality, Lana, too!
Can you tell I loved last night?
Exactly what NYPeachhead said. Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Brofan!!!
One of the first members I met on here and certainly one of the finest. Have a great day Rich!!!
Anyone know if there is a copy of the Big House Bash poster online. I would like to get it for cover art for the CD.
Thanks,
Steve
