I know this is a little late coming, but I wanted to post and thank everyone for an amazing Beacon weekend! Friday night was incredible because of all the wonderful folks who come together in our suite and bring with them great karma and friendship. I enjoyed every minute of being the "beer maid"... 🙂 I loved hanging out with so many ABB friends... I do know many of you now and look very forward to meeting again. It was very cool to see Lana and Rowland again and to have the honor of Butch's visit! Thanks for making that a reality! Thanks EasyMichael for the ticket Friday night...it was a great seat and I enjoyed the show immensely. Fellow sweeties and best buddies Stacy, Terri B, Jacquie, Sari, Peg, Marsha, Carole, you work so hard to pull this off....I'm so glad to be a part of the weekend again. It was fantastic! You guys have it nailed down. Thanks for everything you do to keep it running smooth. Stacy, my best bud, although we missed each other at Yogi's and BB's this year, we will make up for it soon enough I'm sure 🙂 Our friendship isn't dependent on always being together. You called me from Yogi's and I was at the top of a hill in Central Park and I couldn't be there. And I missed ya at BB's *hence the bat incident in the morning*, but it's all GOOD, isn't it? 🙂 I wear my sweeties shirt with honor. Jello Shot Peg...where are ya???? I know you are not hiding from me, my friend. Thanks for taking on the daunting task of being my travel buddy....haha! But what an incredible time we had and I'm so glad we made it everywhere we wanted to go (sooner or later)! Scotty's party was great fun. I enjoyed witnessing Mike's drumming-at-Beacon debut! And a proud dad stood right behind me taking tons of pics. Thanks Scotty and Congrats. Then off to BB's! What a show! THANK YOU Lefty Collins and the No Mercy Band! You guys ROCK the house off the foundation and blow the roof off!!!! Every time I see you play, I always leave wanting more! It was a highlight of my weekend for sure. Sooooo talented with tons of heart and soul and, oh yes, did I mention energy?! Nicole, thanks for the resounding 1708...I STILL remember it and probably always will!!! I really had fun Saturday even if you almost got us locked up in NYC. (It's true, I swear). Certainly APB'd! Janet, you have so much energy and enthusiasm...I luv it... plus you have the evidence on Nicole, right? Barb, I'm so glad we got to hang out together all day...you are due an H & H bagel for certain. We got *out and about*, but you guys will back me up about that crazy Nicole, won't ya??? 🙂 I'll send a shout out to Del, hope you have a safe trip back home and thanks for sharing info about your home country. I have lots of opinions to share (haha) and a good give-and-take is always welcomed conversation. And a shout-out to Matt and the guys who bought Peg and I hot dogs from Grey Papaya at 3:30 am.-ish on Saturday after BB's...thanks..and to William and Greg who were in the suite on Friday night. William, loved your comment about Springsteen and the rappers at the Grammy's! OH, and Buka, you deserve your title as Honorary Sweetie by keeping 3 Sweeties safe and sound in the subway! Thanks! And yup, Susan Tedeschi was playing on the stereo in the suite before BB's! Really liked that CD. There was just so much that happened this weekend, I just can't cover it all! But by the looks of this post, I gave it a shot! Lauri

What an unbelievable display of music last night. The show was amazing. I thought way more rocking, funky and soulful than straight up blues. Warren and Derek were squaring off all night like Superman dueling Batman... unreal. The Revival which is usually 5 min show ender was a 20 minute jamathon which rocked like crazy with hints of Jessica all over it. The Southbound w/ horns was so funky. Walk on Guilded Splinters with the Drums Intro was so rocking and the Anyday! oh man... just to watch Susan Tedeschi looking lovingly at her husband shredding the slide was amazing... that was awesome to see. (btw...she is incredibly hot!) Warren doin the slide honors on Statesboro... but the leads during Egypt were mind blowing. How bout the Double bass attack during Memphis Soul Stew... PHUNKY PHUNKY PHUNKY!!!!

LANGMAN: Man, so sorry...did not see your post(s). Thanks for the information. Can you be a little more specific on colors/finishes on the drum shells? On the cymbals, what Model? K's? For example are Butch's hi-hats 14" Masterbeats? Any info on vintage of their cymbals? I assume they may play some new stuff, but I also assume JJ for example may play vintage stuff. I know JJ had some awsome K's at one point but I am not certain what their setups are this year. Thanks again. Sorry, I guess it like asking details about geetar finishes and pickups and strings and the like. Rick

Hey ABBStillrockin.... Thanks man. If you would please PM me with the spec info including drum sizes/make/color/vintage/ and cymbal vintage/make/sizes/mode that would be soooper duper For information. I have tried to locate and purchase an old kit that was owned by Butch or JJ. So far, I have only found one; a kit used by Butch circa 1985. Rick

After 6 hours of American Airline delays, I got home at 3AM last night, only to go to work 4 hours later. Man, I want to be back in NYC. Maybe somehow, I can get there again this weekend, hmmmm. Last nights show looks great. Amazing how diverse these setlists have been. Can't wait to hear all of these shows on disc.
