What an unbelievable display of music last night. The show was amazing. I thought way more rocking, funky and soulful than straight up blues. Warren and Derek were squaring off all night like Superman dueling Batman... unreal. The Revival which is usually 5 min show ender was a 20 minute jamathon which rocked like crazy with hints of Jessica all over it. The Southbound w/ horns was so funky. Walk on Guilded Splinters with the Drums Intro was so rocking and the Anyday! oh man... just to watch Susan Tedeschi looking lovingly at her husband shredding the slide was amazing... that was awesome to see. (btw...she is incredibly hot!) Warren doin the slide honors on Statesboro... but the leads during Egypt were mind blowing. How bout the Double bass attack during Memphis Soul Stew...
