And now ... as I do every year at this time ... it has just turned midnight here in the UK so it is now 22nd Dec ... Smiling Jack's birthday ... whilst over in Denver it is still 21st Dec ... my birthday (and Lizzie's) ... so I raise my glass in a mutual toast ...
