I've got to stick up for Mickey Hart here. Maybe he didn't want to play "straight" but that doesn't mean he isn't capable of it. Mickey regularly plays with people like Trilok Gurtu, Giovanni Hidalgo and Zakir Hussain, arguably 3 of the greatest drummers on Planet Earth. In fact, he has a new CD coming out with the gentlemen mentioned above. I doubt they would waste their time with him if he was incapable of finding the one. Besides, as Phil Lesh once said, "the one is wherever you want it to be."
