Rick - the comment about One Way Out and the 16th notes is right on the money. They do not play it that way any-moe = hard to handle (sorry for the pun).
Ok - I forgot to mention Mike Shrieve who single handedly may have been the star of Woodstock?

his work with Carlos was terrific for about 4 years then the horse got him I think........

he played on the Buddy Rich style kit -very small and he lit them up without going over the top and played with touch and creativity as well.
I would be completely remiss and dishonest to not include Charlie Watts - he is a whole "nother mother" than BT/Moe, Riddle, Hayward, et. al. but his pocket was impressive.
my personal drumming moto for years has been - "think like Charlie, play like Butch".
