With regards to my earlier post, all I can say is this: At the end of our sessions last year, where Jai was the only drummer, he said to me "Damn, Pakel, this is the most fun I've had in 15 f***ing years..."
So that leads me to think that he still really loves to play. And I don't think it was just because he loved playing with Barry---I'm fairly sure he'd love to add more to Derek and Warren, and really get more involved w/where Oteil's coming from, and---not to dis Marc, who I'm quite friendly with--but there just isn't enough room.
