Hey Peachies...about September 11..How cool our local Fire and Police Depts are..
The McFamily has been working our butts off making a go of our little car lot....Not much , but the CI property is unreal..less than 2 city blocks from where the banks of the enchanting Myakka kisses Tippiecanoe Bay, exact spot where Jr ,Heather and I spent many a happy day fishing one of the best kept secret spots in all of FLA. ..so we love it..
Heres the thing...we were able to buy a used work trailer left over after the flurry from Hurricane Charley and get Grandfathered in what would have been a million $ deal, our cost pennies on the $.
Another plus that pushed us to move was the Fire House across the street.... El Jobean is just a flashing signal in a sea of traffic headed to the Beaches and Sarasota.
September 11, the McFamily was out there , trying to spruce the place up, paint brushes in hand.
Now here it is THEIR day.....Yet, off-duty Firemen, start showing up, and before you can say AMERICA, and shake a paint brush at 'em, the place is sparkling under our high flying Old Glory.
When I asked why their flag was not at half-mast, they replied we will never be defeated by a few straggly terrorists..I thought that was strong..and GB worthy.
Anyway...sorting through a mass of music, found another gem, ABB video 9/23/70..really made my day... not sure who may have sent it. Also some goodies from Woody, and I thank you.
Hey Mitch...I roll down Edgewater every day on my way to work..If you saw it now, it would blow your mind! nearly 100 % rebuilt and thriving again....Sure was devastated 3 years ago....Amazing Grace.
Lana, your home sounds beautiful and inviting...welcome back to you and Rowland...
 Lib! it would do us all good to see things through your eyes.....You are BEAUTIFUL!
and because I love saving the best for last.. Our favorite Smiling Irishman and the ever lovely Phyll! xoxoxCa
