The issue here lies in the venue and its roots, obviously. And obviously my heartburn lies in the fact Dickey will not be in position to perform his music with the Band and this particular music. Nuff said about that. A couple of tums, and I will be fine. You see Lefty, you have go go waayy back, back to the beginning of the Dickey firing chapter. Yeah, today its about the music and so on, but early on the emotional thread had little to do with music and a lot to do with Brotherhood. So in my mind, regardless of collaboration, legal matters, and that business, I just wish the Band would show some class and leave Dickey out of it completely (i.e. including not playing his music) if they are going to leave him out of the gig, if you get my drift. They have enough material to play without dusting off the old stuff. Besides, since they wanted to take credit for recreating themselves post Betts, let them hang on to that and play the new stuff all the kids rave on about. Tums please....
