Goldtop, the first time I heard brother Duane it was like hearing the pied piper. He was doing the intro to the song The Weight by the lady of soul, Aretha. I played that song on a juke box every time I went to the Gie dunk to get something to eat or drink. One day a friend came up and told me Duane Allman was going to playing at the Forest Inn at a love in, sure do miss the love ins. I said who is Duane Allman and he told me, the guy you always run in hear to listen to. I was at the love in, on that Sunday, ended up in the back boiler room smoking a joint with Brother Duane and found a home. A lot more to that day, I'll leave it at that. It touched my heart to say what I said.
Savannah, how are you my brother? Hope life is good. I think the yell thing goes way back the cave man on the attack, Then in the war between the states the rebel yell sounded better to say than give it a Yankee yell. Had a better ring to it. ( I must have fought in that war in an other life? Never have got over that defeat for the South. I just like the fact that no matter what the cause, the South had the guts to tell the Government to kiss off.) I know when I was running up mountain in Nam I was yelling my butt off. You are right, it hides ones fears and helps you move forward.
Eattecricket, How the hell do you pronounce that screen name? What you where saying about the lights is right on. Now the brotherhood of lights do a great job. The lights should blind in with the band, not be the stars. I do believe now days that is what is going on. People should leave a show saying the band was great not the light show was great. example, the royal Canadian ballet performed the song Blue Snake. A beautiful ballet. I was running a spot light in the front of the house so I saw everything real good. The stage would be red and then blue. Thing was I never noticed the lights changing colors. You asked yourself when did they go to blue. That is how the lights should be, to blend in with the show. Music or whatever.
Eyes are everywhere. first time I been to town in a while. That was me with battery acting like it wanted to die. So I was banging riffs with Bill Luckado, and somebody sees me. It is a small world.
