Hurricane Isidore is already claiming "victims" in the area with cancellations of weekend events coming one after the other.
Also biting the dust is an Allman Brothers Band-Derek Trucks Band concert which was to have taken place tonight at The Saenger Theatre in New Orleans.
The show will not be rescheduled, and those with tickets can get refunds at place of purchase beginning Friday.
