We've come a l-o-n-g way!
I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore - BORING! - but I did hear back to back on New York City's classic rock station Q104 yesterday "Statesboro Blues" AND "Sailing Cross The Devils Sea"! I thought I was hearing things with "Sailin". I could count on one hand the times I've heard that song on the radio since BWIAB came out. Sure sounded good!
When the new ABB disc comes out I think "Who To Believe" would be a real good first single. I think its a good representation of how the band sounds today. What do you think folks? I wonder if the World is ready for The Brothers again or is everybody too caught up in Rap-Rock and Boy Bands. 😡 Maybe it will be the start of something good with radio again. I sure hope so. Remember the time when you could hear The ABB, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Yes, Pink Floyd, Arlo Guthrie and Robin Trower all on the same station? Good music had no boundaries. Those were the days my friends!
Peace
Eddie
