While I have never met him, I do know that he has been a long time fan and is someone well respected in the trading community because of the excellent work he does on remastering the shows. However, again, he is not someone I have met. While I certainly think Gregg has the right to stay quiet about the issue, I do wonder about why 1) he hasn't made any comments and 2) why fund raising is going on on the official ABB web site. I'm not against it personally, but I do think I am not the only one who has questions and I figure better someone who supports Ann and the fan's efforts ask the questions than someone who doesn't have any clue. And further, think about this: Many people are probably just staying away form the issue because it is very easy to avoid conflict. And I don't think that helps the Fund's efforts in the long run. While 13,000 - 14,000 may not be a lot of money in this day and age, for the fund to get to where it needs to go, it would need more "official" support. As I said, I will be sending in a contribution becasue of the recent vandalism. I find it disrespectful and figure that Ann and the people on this site who are supporting her and the effort are going to make sure something positive happens. That said, I don't think that is enough to truly address the problems over the long haul.
