i'm avoiding MS Vista like a plauge, as too many of my customers have had issues with it already (as is the case with any new OS). I will say that Vista does incorporate some security features that are appealing to us Network Security types. i can't say too much bad about MS since they have provided me with a fine livelyhood for the past 12 or so years....
But from what i've been reading, MicroSuck already has plans for a new OS coming out in the next two years, so for me Vista is like the new century version of ME. Ick. ME is the betamax of the O/S World, i have a feeling that Vista will be as well.
Tis the nature of the beast i suppose, what cracks me up the most is the new releases of MSOffice......i mean, how many new features do we really need from a word processing program? and at $200/ a seat for it, i just cant make it worthwhile. especially since Open Office is free!
