I was at the Englishtown show in '77. MTB was on fire that day. I think there were at least 100,000 people at that show, if memory serves me right, maybe it was about 150k.
I first caught MTB, when they opened for ABB in 1974. Never heard of them before that night. There was a huge buzz about them in the arena before they went on, from folks who knew them. Needless to say, I was blown away with their set. I think they were called back for 3 or 4 encores.
