Lana, got to see Miss Astrid as well and she sure is one stylish little girl, her little hat was adorable. Rob Johnson’s wife Tammy suggested that she sew on some little butterfly patches on Valor’s carry pouch:) Would that be cute or what?
I was not able to make the B’ham show because of a prior commitment to go see Bo Diddley at the Roxy here in Atlanta. My husband helped with production and I went along for the ride so to speak. When he played “I’m A Man” and then looked at everyone and sang “I’m a Hoochie Coochie Man”, well he may be 73 but he darn sure made you believe it. He only does about 15 show’s a year so it was a real treat.
After the show my husband took me backstage to meet the man himself and the folks in the band were like “Is this your wife” and he said she sure is. And they told him, she was right out front dancing the whole night, and he said yeah she danced 3 ½ hours last night at the ABB show and another 3 ½ hours tonight at this show. They all laughed at that and I was just a little embarrassed. Anyway, Bo shook my hand signed a picture for me, gave me a pick and signed the only set list he had and gave it to my husband. He said now it’s a little dirty I been tappin my foot on it all night. Is that okay? Well heck yeah it’s okay!
What a weekend this has been! The most wonderful ABB Atlanta show and meeting the living legend “Bo Diddley”. Look’s like instead of a night I will never forget, this weekend goes down in my personal history book as the being the weekend I will never forget
