Dave Stoltz. You are an exceptional player in your own right. I agree with your opinions about Moeski. He has a very distinctive style which has its hands full standing up in the ABB mix. I listen to the old Sea Level and I hear him. I listen to bootlegs from his current line up with the Jasss Band.........deep deep pocket back beats with great meaningful stinging ringing crashes. I also went out and bought his exact Pearl Reference kit in Granite Sparkle....but I have a 22 inch kick drum - not an 18 like his. nice thread too.........
