First of all, I have say a big THANK YOU to the band for my Mountain Jam for the Mountains last night....yes, it was a different version, but that is what I love so much about the ABB and other jambands....it's not the same tonight and the same notes tomorrow night....for me, it was very enjoyable and thanks again..... The best part of the evening was sharing it with my wonderful old and new friends....it seems that our circle of friends and family keeps growing and growing and growing....Glenn B and Mike, thanks for the ride and tour of Salem after the show....teehee!....Ron E and Kirby, a big thanks to the two of you for making my night so special....Jim and Jennifer, wonderful to see you again...Steve, I'm looking forward to seeing you at Derek's Visulite show in late October....Denise and Christine, what fun after the show and at breakfast this morning....see you gals, next tour.... As I was traveling a short distance down I-85 , I wanted to be traveling on Southbound for Friday's show in Atlanta...(I still might!!) If anyone at all is sitting on the fence trying to decide whether to go or not, I encourage you to go....before the show last night, I was wondering if Raleigh had just been one of those few special elusive nights that you are blessed with...no, it wasn't...there is a special chemistry within the band now....there is a joy within the band and you hear it in the notes coming from their instruments...you see it in their eyes and facial expressions as they are playing....you see it when they close their eyes and you know that the music is taking them to that special place....yes, this is a very special Allman Brothers Band!!!....thank you again for such beautiful, special music that once again touches my soul like no other band can....
