Maydell is not one of my favorites. I actually prefer it with Gregory singing it as it sounds like a Mule tune when Warren singing. HOW-ev-R, I haven't heard the new arrangement, but if it sounds like Dimples, I'll give it a spin fo sho.
I too liked "I'm Not Cryin." How about that one for the next record with Gregg singing it? Would be a nice nod to Jackie P to record one of his tunes. I'm sure Derek would do it wonders on straight guitar. Maybe a guest spot on that one by the Asbury Juke horns? Plenty of options to give it the ABB stamp.
