Bob, I am sorry about your dad, but if you could plan an exit, I would say about that age, and a sleep and gone..... I would have scripted it that way, brother. May he rest in peace... When I hear of fine people gone, I think how my sons have fine company. I've thought about death a bit lately..... grief can be an odd thing.... manifested in different ways and in my case postponed...... you have to grieve.... What I have come up with is that with a close loved one, especially a spouse or child, or very close friend, or a sibling...... is that you can't let yourself get paralyzed in grief... yes for a while maybe even a year or more, but one day, you have to put one foot in front of the other and go...... forward. The reason one may not at first is because every step forward is seen as a step away from the last day that loved one was alive...... but they would want you to keep walkin' on the road, and you have get in motion eventually. GRIEFNET is a fine resource and system on support.
