FYI - Asheville Citizen Times> Warren Haynes expands Mountain Jam to three days, Phil Lesh booked by Tony Kiss published April 24, 2007 10:17 am Asheville-raised rock star Warren Haynes is expanding his Mountain Jam festival in Hunter, N.Y., to a three day event this year, June 1-3. Along with Haynes’ and his band Gov’t Mule, the festival also features Phil Lesh and Friends, making their only festival apperance of summer. Mountain Jam will also feature G. Love and Special Sauce, Umphrey's McGee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Robert Randolph and The Family Band and the New Orleans Social Club, among many others. Advertisement The Mountain Jam has become a second trademark event for Grammy-winning guitarist Haynes, who also plays his annual Christmas Jam show each December at the Asheville Civic Center arena.
